I dunno, if you can bring your own balloons rather than find balloons, then you can buy your way up the scoring ladder.

Now if they had let the balloon go flying away in the parking lot at Montana's, and then later managed to find it at Blinch Lake, that'd have to be worth 10000 points

But the balloon landed on my table ( by some mysterious gust of wind called the Hike in Van)! So technically it did come out of nowhere .

But alas, I am one to play by the rules so I will let it be

I want to let the balloon go in the hopes that you would catch it Mick .

Now that would be worth 15000 points!!! (But split between both of us of course )

Interesting idea,SpunkyOver time,I'm curious as to how many will be found and where.I think the reason the North Shore has so many is that we might get all of Vancouver's balloons due to prevailing winds.Take the Coquihalla area, for example. If you find one there, where did it originate? There's a lot of science involved,I think

Hey that pic looks familiar! Surely many bonus points would be added if one found a horde of balloons with a backpack attached! (The things people do to make their packs lighter).

This 11 pointer found by Doug Mackenzie in the Crown Creek Valley in July; he says "No points for Bob, eh."

And this prize find snagged today by Jan (aka Mrs. Range). I walked right by it and missed it. Hastings Creek, North Vancouver. A ten pointer!

Just go for a trek on the Shore, Dru Like I said before, it is rich in balloons because of air currents and proximity to the great balloon source that is Vancouver, lol.

So that's two from the USA for you, Deneb ? Thought about it, but it's still only four points, no exchange rate

Your pic has given me the idea to try and photograph the balloon, and the location. You are a runaway winner of the scenic shot category, so far

Perhaps an extra point thrown in for scenic shot?
