With the new snow I thought about trying to get some last x-country skiing in. I was thinking about the first part of the Howe Sound Crest Trail. Has anyone been up there this winter?

Or how about Dakota Ridge on the sunshine coast?

I was on the HSCT from Strachan Meadows back to Cypress Bowl last week and the new snow was great. Conditions are changing rapidly these days, I was up Hollyburn yesterday and the snow was really heavy and wet (four degrees C on the summit). But, at least there's snow on the trails at the moment.
