Under everyone's name when reading posts there are a few pieces of information. One of them is their home country. Now, I think I've come across one single post where I noticed an American, but isn't ~90odd percent of this board in Canada? It seems rather pointless to include that information. What would be nice is if it listed city instead, so as to make it easy when you see a post looking for 'hikers in my area' or whatever. The city would be useful information. Why is the country there? |

Interesting point.. I never really thought about it. It is the default function of the forum to be the country.

It just seems as though it is a useless line, as everyone's is the same, that could be put to better use. Perhaps worth considering?

Province might be more useful as some people here are from places I can't find on a map!

I just noticed that everyone's little schpiel now includes their city and province. Thanks for adding this, it's really cool!

Thanks for the suggestion, Rachelo. It came to mind the other day when I had a bit of spare time, so I put it into action. It is rather handy, isn't it.
