On the May Day long weekend of 2002 the West Harrison and East Harrison FSR systems saw a combined total of: 2 sexual assaults 13 assaults over 70 drunk and disorderly 5 breach of the peace over 300 liquor confiscations about 50 driving impaired arrests or suspensions numerous other minor police incidents and several car crashes
If that isn't Strange then what is?

Dru's comment doesnt seem strange to me at all, I have partied out at harrison on a May long weekend, it was nuts, like 300 people scattering the beach and road, people were driing their civics up there through up to foot deep streams.

| I seen the aftermath.. I party and drink on the beach too (responsibly),but when everyone has gone, the area is often beyond cleaning up. |

You mean strange as in... Sasquatch? Or strange as in your obsession with Sasquatch? |

Encounter(S)? You've had more than one? Wow, very facinating. I thought it was hard enought to see sasquatch once let alone more than once.
You are very lucky.

Ok I can't believe I'm going to reply to this because generally as a skeptic I accept this observation as a very very very long shot possibility and any sense of crediblity is going to be taken to task but here goes anyways have fun with it gang
This observation was witnessed by myself, daughter (also step brother), son, and grand children. The observation is simply no more than a set of tracks which we found. They were observed during a day trip to Hemlock Valley in the summer of 2005.
We were walking up in the gulley below the condos and west of the chairlift (Sasquatch Chair). The resort was closed due to financial restructuring at the time. Weather was clear and temps were 30+.
Humanid-like tracks were observed from the edge of the parking lot heading into the gulley and upslope. They were approx 25cm in length and 10cm across the ball of the foot pad. Ground and foliage was depressed apporxiamately 1-2cm in places. Stride was long and gait was appropriate for terain. At first glance I didn't know what to think other than someone was REALLY bored and stupid and tried to fabricate the tracks. Second thought was why would they do this in a place where there was little or no public activity and in area which received virtually no traffic by hikers workers or otherwise. It's just an overgrown gulley. It was only coincidence that we walked over there and came across them. We were satisfied that they were foot prints (fabricated or otherwise) and not animal tracks.
I am not going to speculate on what type of tracks they were or what made them and I could not identify them, but it was odd. As stated I am very conserative and skeptical around subjects like this and usually default to proven scientific fact and evidence. For what it's worth it was a fun discovery for the grandkids that day.
Have fun with it guys? |

I thought Sasquatch threads were banned?
Dax started one last year or the year before. There are forums specifically on the critters. And lots of books in the library, with descriptions of specific sightings.
Though it was nice seeing these old pics bumped up. But shouldn't that pod of orcas have been a sea serpent? (Cadborosaurus) |
