Begins at Taylor Lake. The Taylor Lake Trail is 6.3 km and starts on the west side of the Trans-Canada Highway between Castle Junction and Lake Louise.
Details
The Panorama Ridge Trail starts at Taylor Lake and skirts the north side of the ridge for 11.5 km, ending on the short trail between Consolation Lakes and Moraine Lake. One could also extend this route by starting off the Boom Lake Trail, passing O'Brian Lake before reaching Taylor Lake.
The trail can be rough and muddy but there is plenty to see along the way. There is camping at Taylor Lake, where the route to the bridge begins.
