Directions

From the city of Vancouver, cross either the Lions Gate Bridge or the Ironworker's Memorial (Second Narrows) Bridge. Follow Highway #1/#99 west to exit #8, signed as "Cypress". Follow Cypress Bowl Road north as it winds it's way up the mountain to the ski hill area. Park in the main parking lot at the end of the road, near the park information sign. Parking is free.

Details

The trail begins north of the Powerline Road in the Hollyburn Ridge parking area. From there, proceed either along the trail or via the Hollyburn Lodge Route which begins at the east end of the parking lot. The trails meet farther along the ridge and then climbs to the peak at 1325 metres.

For a shorter trip, follow the road to the ski area. From there take the Baden Powel trail eastward. After crossing a bridge and going through a boggy section turn left at a junction (Baden Powel goes straight) and follow the well marked trail up to the summit. Elevation gain of 410m.
