Directions

Follow Highway 99 just south of Whistler to Cheakamus Lake Road. Turn east on Cheakamus Lake Road and follow it approximately 100 meters to a junction and turn left on to Eastside Main. Follow the logging road 7 km to it's end at the parking area and trailhead. The road can be easily driven by most vehicles.

Details

This is a short, easy hike 3 km to the lake through old growth forest. There are 10 campsites, pit toilets and food caches at the lake.

An additional 3km along the lake brings you to the Singing Creek campsite where the is an outhouse and a food cache. This portion of the trail was improved in 2006 and is a very nice hike. There is a small rocky beach at Singing Creek.

An easy pleasant trail that winds through old growth timber. It is possible to portage a kayak or canoe on the trail.
