Directions

Canoe about 4km from Grant Narrows to the camp/picnic site, hike another 3 km to falls.

Details

Despite other threads on this site that claim you can hike to here, the easiest way to get here is via canoe from Grant Narrows. Launch and cross Grant Narrows being careful not to be run over by motorboats. Once you are on the other side you are safe as there are no motorboats allowed.

Paddle to waypoint JCT and turn left here, continuing on to waypoint PL-CAMP. Stow the canoe here, be sure to haul it up far from shore as there are still tides here that can come up.

Hike about 200m to waypoint JCT1, here you have two options, turn right and hike through forest and then along the side of the river to the falls, or stay straight on the road and turn right at the end. I prefer to turn right here and hike up alongside the river, it is much more scenic.

The waypoint CONN is where you can cross over from the road route to the river route.

Continue up to the waypoint FALLS, where, of course, the falls are. If you are hiking back on the road, there is a bit of elevation gain to get back up to the road. The waypoint JCT2 is where the trail from the falls meets the road again.
