Directions
The trail starts from the Black Brook parking lot in Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Black Brook is about 20km north of Ingonish. Park at the upper end of the parking lot after crossing Black Brook on a bridge.
Details
Take the path leaving at the highest end of the parking lot. The trail descends the slope in a zigzag manner passing several interpretitive panels. It eventually meets up with the Coastal trail near the water's edge. Turn right to return to head to the parking lot (a few hundred meters) or turn left to hike the coastal trail.
