Details

This is an informal trail established by continuous use, with no known trail maintaince. For the first 450 metres the trail is an old cart road going slightly uphill.

About 300 metres in from the parking are is a trail on the right that leads to Polly Cove.

Once you reach the end of the trail on the hill, there is a neat view of Peggys Cove and the lighthouse on your right.

If you choose to stay on the main path, you will find an odd foundation that was never finished at the top of the hill. There are numerous foot paths that lead to the shore, and travel close to the water.

You can go quite close to the water, or stay up on top of the cliff to get a good view of the surrounding area. The village of West Dover can be seen from the higher elevations.
