Directions
From Dartmouth near the MacDonald bridge, take Pleasant street/Eastern Passage Road (the closest road to the harbour). Go past the refinery and Shearwater base to Eastern Passage. When the road forks in Eastern Passage, go right onto Shore Road. Fisherman's Cove will be on your right shortly after making the right. Drive past the entrance to Fisherman's Cove and park.
Details
The McCormack's beach trail is a boardwalk loop across some sand dunes next to Fisherman's Cove. At the far end of the boardwalk you will be close to the narrow channel between Dartmouth and Lawlor Island.
