Directions
From east of Hagensborg on Highway 20, drive up the Nusatsum River for about 20km to the pass overlooking Noieck River. Park here, or as close to her as possible.
Details
Follow the ridge crest up and over Polar Bear Peak then sidehill along grassy benches on the valley wall till above Ape Lake, then descend to Ape Lake. Something more than a day of travel in each direction.
