The Trail begins at Elk Pass Parking Lot (Peter Lougheed Park) and follows Powerline Road to the first bridge crossing of Fox Creek.

Hikers continue on the right fork of the road following signs bearing the hiker symbol, past Blueberry Hill Trail. Approximately 100 metres south of Blueberry Hill Trail is the next hiker symbol. Take trail to the right which leads to West Elk Pass Trailhead and provincial boundary.
