Hikers can complete a loop via Fox Lake Trail to Upper Elk Lake.
Upper Elk Lake - This is a 2 km long collecting basin of the natural fawcetts, produced by the bent limestone layers of Mount Aosta and Mount Fox, and the French Military Group's glaciers. The waters of the Elk Lakes tend to be laden with glacial rock four and cold. In late summer, the water clears and angling for cutthroat trout, bull trout and Rocky Mountain whitefirsh is good.
Fox Lake - Small lake near northern park boundary and Peter Lougheed Park.
