Hatchethead Mountain Trail

Directions

To reach the northern trailhead, follow Highway #3 (Hope-Princeton Highway) 35.5km East of Hope to Sumallo Grove parking lot in Manning Provincial Park. Park here, and locate the trail on the southern end of the parking lot.

For the southern trailhead, take exit #168 off of Highway #1 near Hope. Follow Flood Hope Road East to a flashing amber light at Silver-Skagit Road and zero your odometer. Turn right onto Silver-Skagit Road, and follow it south for over 40 km into Skagit Valley Provincial Park and to the signed trailhead next to 26 Mile Bridge.

A rough, overgrown track (barely a trail) leading up Hatchethead Mountain from the Skagit River Trail, just past Delacy Camp.
