Details

"If people weren't so down on the Grind, I'd feel comfortable likening many parts of Augerpoint to carrying a 40 pound pack up probably the steepest parts of the Grind, without any steps, mostly on loose gravel, a dozen or so times." - social climber

The trail is steep, but has heavy use as part of the Augerpoint Traverse, one of the most popular alpine ridge hikes in Strathcona Park. It rises from Buttle Lake to a ridge the connects easily with Augerpoint Mnt.
