Directions
From highway 101 take exit 11 onto 358 north and drive to Scot's Bay. Once in Scot's Bay follow the signs to Cape Split and park at the road's end.
Details
The trail leaves from the end of the road and immediately heads into the forest. There is a cliff-side path on the left, but it is prone to erosion so the right hand forest path is preferable. The path is straight forward and fairly flat and continues through the trees for 6km or so. Parts of the trail are located on private land.
Once out at the cape the trees turn to meadow. The cape is a popular place as there view of the Bay of Fundy and Minas Basin are spectacular. The tides are very powerful and can be quite loud when they are changing.
