Directions
This hike starts at Topsail Beach. Topsail Beach is approx 29km from St. Johns via highway 2. Exit highway 2 towards Manuels. Take Manuels Access road to highway 60 (Conception Bay highway).
Details
The trail begins from the righ hand side of the beach. This trail is the start of the East Coast Trail. After less than 100m on the well worn trail look for a faint trail heading up the slope into the trees. The trail is faint and at times hard to follow, but it climbs steadily. Once at the top of the mountain, the trail meanders along the top of the bluff, connecting up to ATV trails, and becoming quite overgrown in places. In August there are many blueberry bushes to be found at the top along with the view of Conception Bay.
