Directions
Kamloops, highway #1, turn north on highway #5 (Jasper), at 5.5km turn left onto Halston Road, continue 6.4km where Halston Road crosses North Thompson River and becomes Parkcrest Avenue which ends at a T-junction. Turn left onto Schreiner Street, continue 0.7km, turn right onto Tranquille Road, continue 5.5km through a 90 degree right turn, past the airport, 90 degree left turn, now with railway tracks on your right continuing past the golf course. Official trail access is 2.5 km further along Tranquille Road, just after crossing the tracks, at a small parking area.
Details
There are many other trails inside the loop and if you want to shorten your hike, there are many possibilities to do so. I give you the GPS date for the longest loop you can do, which should probably take about 3 hours to complete if you want to take your time and enjoy the view.
