Directions

Head north from Mt. Currie towards D'arcy. A couple kilometers before eaching D'arcy, the blackwater road leaves the main highway on the left. Follow blackwater road west until just before a gate at the entrance to Birkenhead Lake Provincial Park. The Phelix Creek road goes uphill from here on the right hand side. There is a sizeable parking area at the bottom of the road. Blackwater road is plowed in winter as far as the Birkenhead park gate.

A new trail has been completed entirely on the west side of the creek. At the end of the Phelix Creek road, continue through the logging slash to some large boulders. The trail starts just beyond and slightly above the boulders.
