| Strengths: |
Light and relatively easy set up for a tarp |
| Weaknesses: |
Pole holders don't |
| Conclusions: |
This is a very light tarp designed for easy set up with one or two hiking poles. With 6 pegs, it is relatively quick and easy to set up as tarps go and is quite taught and weather resistant.
In an emergency it could fit 2 but there is really only comfortable space for 1 person. Ideal for one person with a bivy bag. It also makes a bomb proof cooking shelter for 2-people.
It has fabric caps with draw cords designed to tighten around the tops of hiking poles. They are weak at best (won't stay tight). Add a couple of small cord locks for an easy fix.
For a little extra breathing room and a more flexible set-up, add short cords (approx. 18") to the corner tie-out points. If the wind picks up, move the pegs back to the factory fabric peg loops.
