Title: Wonderful Jacket!
Score:
Written by: Mellowhead Created Time:11/14/2010 2:49:12 PM
Strengths: Very sturdy, quite waterproof and windproof, longer length than other Arc'teryx models
Weaknesses: Hood can get in the way if not adjusted properly
Conclusions: I've been on one weekend trip with this jacket. I was very impressed by the waterproof-ness of it and the degree to which it kept me warm. And it was not warm out! At first i thought the hood was a little too big and bulky, but after tensioning the adjustment straps properly, I found i was able to keep it exactly where I wanted it. One of the reasons I got this model over the Alpha or Beta is the longer length. I wanted a jacket that would keep me nice and dry when I'm hiking in wet weather. The Theta, combined with a good set of rainpants, did the job very well. I'm quite happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to others.
