Conclusions: I was looking for a jacket that would stand up to bushwacking and getting abused pretty much year round. After searching every store out there, I found this jacket, and not only did it have a heavier face fabric than the toughest arcteryx, it also used eVent, which I was interested in trying. SO far, it had preformed remarkably. I've used it in everything from 25* sun, howling winds, monsoon rains, snow (on the first day of summer) hail, you name it. I never seem to get sweaty underneath it either, and it had yet to rip on my, which is more than i expected. I only wish I could get it in a colour other than black, but I guess you can't have everything.
