| Strengths: |
Light, breathable |

none |
| Conclusions: |
Waterproof, really breathable, full featured hard shell. Includes hand pockets, chest pocket (very clever design) and an internal iPod pocket. Helmet compatible hood with fit adjustments. Even has pit zips all for 1 lb.
The eVent fabric is what makes this jacket special. Waterproof with exceptional breathability. I have tried Goretex XCR, Patagonia H2No, & Helly Hansen hard shells and none of those come remotely close to eVent for vapour dispersion. And, in spite of all the features of this jacket, it remains very light and compact for packing.
For a close fitting, hard shell, with full features this is about as good as it gets.
