Strengths: Good light duty crampon, Fits on almost any kind of boot
Weaknesses: Not suitable for climbing
Conclusions: Given their design, the semi-rigid Stalker isn't meant for ice climbing, but they're great for ice walks, icy trails, or steep, snow-covered hills. For use when your cleats just don't cut it, like in hard-packed but deeper snow, on slippery sloping trails, or when walking on a glacier or any other icy surface.

The spikes are long enough to glue you to the slopes; I've gone straight up using the toe points and never slipped at all.

I've worn them on two kinds of boots. Since they don't need special welts or a rigid shank, they never slide around. Keep an eye on the bindings, though - because of the flex, they can loosen off after a while. A bit heavy for a simple walk on an icy trail, but you never have to worry about slipping.

The steel tines can rust if you don't clean and oil them after each use, but they're tough enough to takes some abuse.

Title: Camp Stalker

Strengths: strong construction for a great price
Weaknesses: heavy
Conclusions: The stalker crampons have the benefit of strong steel construction with 12 points, anti-snow plates and storage bag. They will actually fit a 13.5 inch boot without the purchase of a longer bar. Which I had to purchase with the Grivel line of crampons.

I have used them in a number of situations in snow or ice and they never let me down.

Only downside is they are steel construction and on the heavier side. After a couple uses the spikes start to rust because the paint scrapes off. The only other issue I have had is the strap. The double circle buckle seems to come loose after a while with use. Which it seems to do on a regular basis, compared to my Grivels with exact same buckle system and it never slipped ever.

Beyond that they work great for the price and the options they come with. Compared to higher priced brands that require anit snow plates, storage bag and a longer bars it’s a great buy.

Title: nice package

Strengths: reasonable weight with everything you need right out of the bag
Weaknesses: strap adjustment fitting
Conclusions: I have a pair with the quick release heal fitting requiring a rear welt. As noted above they come complete with anti-bot plate and bag. They also have an easy, tool free length adjustment and pack down into a reasonably compact size.

They are well suited to general mountaineering and obviously not intended for technical ice climbing.

My only complaint is the 2 metal ring system used for tightening the straps. I have not had slippage or loosening problems: just the opposite with them being fussy and difficult to loosen.
