Heavy, Epic bindings uncomfortable |
| Conclusions: |
I bought these snowshoes for carrying heavy loads and more aggressive offtrail trips where floatation was an issue. They lived up to the expectation that they would float well. The Epic ratchet bindings are easy to use and work well with gloves on but feel a bit uncomfortable to me. The overall snowshoe weight and widths combined with the pivot system, make these snowshoes cumbersome to use on anything other than offtrail travel.
